Wizkid Wins 3 Awards At AFRIMMA 2021; Full List Of Winners
Nigerian singer, Wizkid won three categories at the 2021 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMMA) whose gala night was held on Sunday, November 2021. Fireboy DML also scooped two awards.
Essence featuring Tems, taken off the ‘Made in Lagos’ album scooped two awards, the Song of the Year category and the Best African Collaboration. Wizkid had been nominated for four categories and only missed out on the Album of the Year Category which went to Mali’s Iba One.
Fireboy DML on the other hand bagged the Africans Fan’s Favorite and Best Duo African Hip hop award for the single ‘History’ alongside Cheque.
Another Nigerian singer who won during the Afrima Awards 2021 was Flavour who won the Best Artiste or Duo in African Dance or Choreography alongside Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz and Congo’s Fally Ipupa.
