Train Crushes NYSC Corps member in Lagos (See Graphic)

A female National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member was crushed on Thursday at the Ikeja Along Bus Stop railway station area in Ikeja, Lagos State.

The incident happened at about 12.10 p.m. According to eyewitness reports, the corps member whose identity is yet to be known as at the time of the incident had her ear-piece on and appeared to be unconscious of the approaching train.

It was disclosed that even when someone tried to drag her back she resisted and moved on till she was crushed.

Her legs and fingers were badly crushed as she lied down by the rail line as she begged those around to help her. It was gathered that policeman and a few other persons who had gathered around were seen making calls obviously to the appropriate authorities for the needed assistance.

Recalled that a similar incident happened on February 13, 2018 when a man identified as Fatai was crushed to death by a train in Ikeja area of Lagos State at about 9.00 a.m.
