Love of money the root of all evil I saw while going through my bible

In me, this caused a quibble After I saw hunger made lives miserable and horrible

Is love of money the root of all evil? Or lack of it the real devil?

In this episode, I’ll stick with the real devil

With salient points I’ll unravel.

Now I feel this part of the bible ain’t valid

With horrible things men do for money like flids

When hunger and starvation had made some pallid

That they eat from dirts, live in slums and ghettos all in squalid

Who wished for a life to which poverty looks calid Don’t they love money as we all do? Aye, here’s a typical effect of the lack of it.

A friend terminated his University admission

A lady once said Sui Generis for money I will take any mission

Heard father sold his child for remuneration

This came outrightly out of frustration

Posed by the lack of it rather the love of it.

Here, lack of money turned the devil

And into their heart, it induces evil.

Yea! Money can’t buy you happiness

Here I stage my business In all readiness

To this I stand as a witness After I watched my little brother died of illness

To which a lot was spent on his wellness.

I don’t want money but happiness so they say

Let me quickly address this hearsay

Can you stay happy when hunger had ripped your day?

Work happily without a pay?

When it’s clear workers’ happiest day is the pay day

Will ray of hapiness have it’s way?

In homes poverty slay?

And hunger fray?

Aye, a hungry man is an angry man, yay!!!

What’s love without mone

This I said when is saw a woman jettisoned her matrimony In hunger who remembers names like sweetheart, darling and honey

How about the romance when your sexy partner turns boney

Yes!! love ain’t a tourney But with money it could be a swift journey

To those who stick to love My running mouth I dare not shove

For the crazy mathematics of love I find very difficult to solve

To Christians, heaven over all things

If so, why offerings and tithings Pastors preach eternity And tag all things vanity

While the least ride at his garage the latest aston martin

What an irony!!!

Even God forbids worshippers who appear in His presence without nothing.

Do God loves money too?

No, He knows the gruesome effect of the lack of it in Church.

Before my words set doubting Thomases arouse Malachi 3:10 – ” Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse

That there may be meat in my house ”

After reminiscing on my salient words, If you still doubt poverty and it’s way
