Joe Turkel Death Cause: Joe Turkel, a character actor who starred in Stanley Kubrick’s films The Killing, Paths of Glory, and The Shining, has died at the age of 94. Turkel was also a WWII veteran who served in the US Army.

In a 2011 rally he attended in Occupy Seattle, Joe referred to himself as a “Liberal Progressive Democrat”. He had two brothers, Harold Turkel and David Turkel.

At the age of 17 years, Joe joined the United States Army and served in the European Theater of Operations during World War II.

On June 27, 2022 Joe Turkel died at the age of 94 at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California. While it is not officially stated what is Joe Turkel’s death cause, people are speculating that he died because of age-related aliments.

Turkel is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law Craig and Annie Turkel, Robert and Casilde Sesti, and his brother David Turkel. He was said to have been devoted to his two grandchildren, Ben and Sarah.
