How ‘Google me’ saved me in London hotel – Bovi
Popular comedian Bovi has recalled how he was almost accused of stealing at a London hotel booked by his wife in Nigeria.
According to him, he simply said “google me” as he was required to present the card his wife used for booking.
The comedian said the card declined after attempting to use it
Recounting his experience, he cited Simon Leviev, a popularly known con man for the Ponzi scheme and internet scam for contributing to his allegation.
The actors wrote: “Simon Leviev done spoil everywhere o. Tryna check into a hotel in London and they insist I present the card that was used for the booking.
“I tell them it was done for me by my wife and she’s in Naija. That made it worse. They think I’m stealing. Then to crown am, my own card dey decline.
“For the first time in my life, I said the words ‘google me’.”
