Cow Swallows N16 Million from NNPC Station in Kano

Sixteen million naira has been declared missing from an NNPC filling station in Kano.

Due to the recent developments in the country for some time now where monkey and snake have allegedly swallowed millions of Nigerian naira, the theft at the NNPC station may be linked to a cow in the state.

The sixteen million naira got missing when the employees of the filling station were moving the money from the station to a vehicle that was supposed to be moved to a bank in the Hotoro area.

The money was packed in two sacks and a sack containing the sixteen million naira got missing.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the money got missing at about 8 am on March 13, 2018.

Reports, however, did not clearly state how the sixteen million naira disappeared from the vehicle but it was suspected that armed robbers attacked the vehicle but it has not been confirmed.

Police Public Relations Officer for the Command in the state, SP Magaji Majiya who spoke with newsmen mentioned that some of the attendants of the filling station have been arrested in connection with the missing money.

He said: “As I am talking to you now, cashier one, two and their supervisor have been arrested in connection with the robbery.

Investigation into the matter has commenced. with a view to arresting the fleeing suspects.”
