Yusuf Buhari (born 23rd April, 199*)  is the only son of President Muhammadu Buhari with his second (and current) wife Aisha, with whom the commander-in-chief has five children. Yusuf is also the only male of the President’s surviving eight children. The President’s only other son from his first – and now late – wife Safinatu (who bore him five children), Musa, is deceased.

Yusuf Buhari ( born 23rd April) is the only surviving son of current Nigerian president, General Muhammadu Buhari. He’s one of President Buhari’s eight surviving children and was born by President Buhari’s second wife, Aisha Buhari. Yusuf Buhari had an older half-brother, Musa Buhari, who was born by President Buhari’s first wife Safinatu. Both Safinatu and Musa are sadly deceased. Presently, Yusuf has four sisters and three half-sisters. Halima Buhari Sheriff is one of Yusuf Buhari’s sisters.

After completing his tertiary education, Yusuf returned to Nigeria, where he remains to this day, still largely avoiding public attention. Nowadays, apart from the occasional family portrait, Yusuf is only seen attending public functions with his dad, with whom he has a close relationship.
