‘Yahoo:’ Police Reveal Fresh Plans Against Fraudsters, Mothers

The Deputy Commissioner in charge of the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Yaba Yetunde Longe has said fraudsters and their mothers will be jailed if found guilty.

Naijaparry understands that Longe said this on Wednesday in a reaction to news reports that some women have formed an “Association of Yahoo Boys’ Mothers.”

He told Lagos Television (LTV) that “the ‘Association of Yahoo Boys’ Mothers’ is still a hear-say until police investigation reveals that there is truth in it.

“And if it turns out to be true and it’s proven that they are in any way involved or provided any form of support to the crime, that makes them accomplices and co-conspirators where which they will be made to face the full wrath of the law.”

Furthermore, she lauded the Lagos Commissioner of Police Zubairu Muazu on his dogged fight against cybercrime becomes in Lagos.

This is as she pleaded with Nigerians to liaise with the police to ensure a safer country for everyone.
