WCQ 2026: Boniface Vows to Help Super Eagles Wreck Lesotho

Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface, is fired up for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho.

Boniface is expected to play a key role for the Super Eagles in the absence of Victor Osimhen.

The 22-year-old has been in fantastic form for Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen this season.

The striker has scored seven goals and registered five assists in 11 league outings for Die Werkself this season.

Boniface is determined to replicate his club form on the international scene.

“I’m ready and focused; we are determined, so we will see what happens,” he said on NFF TV after the team’s final training session on Wednesday.

“Training has been really good; we’ve done two trainings in a short time and every player is focused on the game.

“I will try to do my best, give 100 per cent and also try to win the game. We can’t wait to see our fans at the stadium because we need their support.“
