Everyone can be irritating from time to time in a relationship (including you). The fact is you can’t ask people to change, and even if they wanted to they couldn’t do it. Sure, they can modify their behavior, but they can’t change their personality.

If you meet someone who is perfect apart from being alcoholic, or physically abusive, or serially unfaithful, you won’t change that either. Please don’t kid yourself.

They might keep the behavior in check for a while, but when the euphoria wears off and the stress of normal life returns, they will go back to their old ways.

– GET TO KNOW SOMEONE THROUGH ALL THE SEASONS BEFORE MAKING ANY MAJOR DECISIONS
