Oyo Discharges 3 Patients, Records 38 New Cases of COVID-19

Oyo state has discharged three coronavirus patients after receiving second negative test results, Governor Seyi Makinde announced.

With this, the number of discharged cases in Oyo State rise to 1,015.

According to him, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for thirty-eight suspected cases came back positive.

“The cases are from Oluyole (13), Ido (5), Egbeda (4), Ibadan N (4), Ibadan SW (3), Ogbomosho N (3), Akinyele (3), Ibadan NE (1), Lagelu (1) and Ibadan SE (1) Local Government Areas.

“So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 1989,” the governor stated further.

Governor Makinde advised residents to call the Emergency Operations Centre on 08095394000 | 08095863000 | 08078288999 | 08078288800 or visit a community-based testing centre, if they have any COVID-19 symptoms: cough, fever, tiredness, body ache, loss of smell/taste and shortness of breath.
