NCDC DG Reveals The States That Are Not Doing Enough COVID-19 Tests

The Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Chikwe Ihekweazu has revealed the states that are not conducting enough COVID-19 tests.

He made this known in at a recent presidential task force briefing on COVID-19 on December 10. According to him, some of the states are not conducting enough tests and these include Cross River, Jigawa, Kogi, Osun, Ebonyi, Adamawa and Zamfara.

“It is important to test, to manage the outbreak and plan for vaccination. The numbers are not looking good and we need to take this very seriously as we plan for the end of the year,” he said.
