Muri Pounds: Content Creator Re-arrested For Pretending to Smoke Like Naira Marley Released
Nigerian artiste and content creator, Muri Pounds has been released from police custody after he was arrested for bragging in a video that he does hard drugs like his role model.
This is the second time he is being arrested for imitating rapper, Naira Marley’s style of smoking cannabis and other strands as the first time was in May.
The up-and-coming singer casually posts videos of himself holding blunt and saying that he is just like the Marlian Music boss, but his most recent one landed him in cell.
However, his lawyer has secured his release, with the police warning him never to talk about smoking loud or drinking codeine. Following the fulfilment of his bail condition, Muri dropped a new track without delay, where he advised youths against doing drugs.
A video which surfaced online shows when policemen were interrogating him in the station about the type of drugs he takes. The new track Muri released is titled; Why Smoking, and he argued that he is not an ex-convict.
