In addition, Mike is well-known for being a political and social activist who addresses issues like systematic racism, police brutality, and socioeconomic injustice.

America: The Motion Picture, Baby Driver, ATL, Idlewild, and others are among the movies in which Render has acted. In January 2019, his six-episode documentary series Trigger Warning with Killer Mike delves into Black Americans’ social concerns.

In 2022, he won an Emmy Award for his monthly interview program Love & Respect (2021–present) on the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).

Mike appeared in the motion pictures ATL (2006), Idlewild (2006), and 20 Funerals. He has done voice acting, appearing in the Adult Swim series Frisky Dingo from 2006 to 2008 as rapper/actor-turned-U.S. President Taqu’il.

In an Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode titled “The Same,” on Adult Swim, Mike provided a cameo voice for a Boost Mobile phone.

He had two appearances on the bizarre comedy series The Eric Andre Show on Adult Swim: once in 2012, where he hyped up a female opera singer, and again in 2014 when he engaged Action Bronson in a rap fight while both of them had to walk on treadmills.
