How EFCC Can Motivate Nigerians To Report Family, Friends That Do Yahoo Yahoo – Daniel Regha
Popular social media commentator, Daniel Regha has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) to introduce a reward system that will make it easier for them to apprehend internet fraudsters aka Yahoo Boys.
He recommended that the EFCC should start offering cash rewards to people who disclose vital information about Yahoo boys to the commission.
Regha pegged the amount at N1million and noted that it will sufficiently motivate Nigerians to report fraudsters who may be their friends or family members.
He wrote; “The EFCC should start offering a cash reward to anyone who reports yahoo boys, a significant amt like N1m; This will get many people to snitch on friends, relatives & neighbours.
The war against yahoo boys should be taken seriously cos these cybercriminals are nothing but monsters.”
