FUTA Boils As Angry Students Take Over The Road After Reckless Driver Killed Their Colleague (Photos)

Angry students of have taken over the road in protest after a reckless driver killed one of their colleagues.

It has been reported that there is an ongoing protest in Akure, Ondo State, over the killing of a student of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA, identified as Adeniyi Israel.

Local reports show that Adeniyi Israel, of the Department of Mathematics, died after being knocked down, yesterday, at Wesco Junction along the Akure-Ilesha Expressway.

Angered by his demise, students of the institution have now taken over the road to demand the construction of speed breaks on the road.
