Federal Polytechnic Ede Second Semester Results – 2019/2020 (Update)

It has been a tense period for thousands of students of Federal Polytechnic Ede who wrote the last semester examination, as they anxiously wait for their results.

Even as Students continue to panic over their results, there have been divergent opinions on the termed ‘delay in the release of Second semester results’.

Naijaparry understands that many of the students are yet to know their fate even as some of the departments in the school are yet to receive a full breakdown of the results of examination written in second semester.

Check reveals that the delay was as a result of the ongoing ‘lecturers strike action’.

A top academic official in the school who confided in the PRESS, said the lecturers demands their entitlements – Non-payment of funds for taking part time courses.

While pointing out the cause of the delay in the release of Second semester results, the academic Don said the lecturers demonstration delayed the convening of the Academic board meeting which was earlier scheduled for the previous monday.

When asked if the board have reconvened, he said, ‘postponed indefinitely’.

The Academic boss, however, expressed optimism that the results will be out at the right time adding that results are ready, awaiting approval of the board.

‘Management of the institution ”is working tirelessly to make sure students results are released at the right time.” he concluded.
