Fed Poly Ede ASUP Chairman debunks strike rumor

The chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic Ede Chapter has debunked the strike rumour circulating within student populace.

This morning, while speaking to PRESS correspondent, he debunked the rumour and enjoined students to report to their various classes to continue their academic activities.

“Is there any strike notice(memo)?” He asked rhetorically.


“Students should go to their various classes. For now, there is no strike”, he said.

Meanwhile, recall that a memo tittled ‘Resolutions from Emergency Congress’ was released on Monday threatening the management of possible strike if the demands therein the memo are not met.

In that regard, he said; “Council (management) is having meeting taking decision on the issues raised in our congress and they have not concluded their meeting.”
