Ede Poly Students Ready For War With ASUP, Management Over Incessant Strikes

Student body of the Federal Polytechnic Ede are ready for a showdown with the ASUP for wasting their precious time in campus.

According to the Press Release signed by the Student Union Preside of the FPE, Mallam (Comrade) Ajibade Quazeem Adekunle, said the students have lost their patience in view of the uncaring attitude of the ASUP and the management towards the wellbeing of the students.

“Our students from different parts of the country have resumed back to their various hostels having abandoned their families, business, friends etc but presently being denied from their legitimate right to study. This clearly points to the readiness of our students to learn however, the school management and staffs on their part derive joy in jeopardizing the future of the innocent students by taking our lives and academics unserious.”

CURRENT SITUATION OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES; CALL FOR STAKEHOLDERS’ MEETING

Hashtag to begin on Twitter -#ReformFPE and others

Ever reasonable Nigerian students

I bring to you powerful revolutionary greetings from the ever caring and ever progressive Students’ Union Government.

Despite the fact that we have paid our dues and students are ready to resume back to classes, the present truncation in academic activities on our campus calls for a sober reflection.

The management called for resumption of second semester and completion of first semester CBT exams for 18th of January, 2021 after the FG-imposed break of second wave of covid-19.

Our students from different parts of the country have resumed back to their various hostels having abandoned their families, business, friends etc but presently being denied from their legitimate right to study. This clearly points to the readiness of our students to learn however, the school management and staffs on their part derive joy in jeopardizing the future of the innocent students by taking our lives and academics unserious.

With this epidemic situation we have been brought into as students, we can not blame student who are determined to bringing laws into their hands. However, we still urge students to be diplomatic and reasonable with their approach toward this issue.

As we have promised that the students will collectively dialogue to know what next to do if nothing positive is done, I hereby call for a meeting of all ever sagacious stakeholders of FPE scheduled as follows:

▪️Date: Sat. 6th of Feb, 2021
▪️Time: 4:00pm
▪️Venue: ETF Hall.

As we prepare for that, I want to enjoin all ever progressive FPE students to join the following trends on Twitter and tweet your minds till it gets to the right channel

#ReformFPE
#ReopenFPEclasses
#EndASUPvsMGTcrisis
#FPEisdying

DARE TO STRUGGLE!!!

Yours in struggle,
