The Delta State police command have arrested a 34-year-old woman, Queen Uwagbogu who allegedly sells AK-47 ammunition .
Operatives of the Crack Squad apprehended the suspect with one hundred (100) rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition in Delta state.
The state Police PRO, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the arrest in a statement on his verfied Twitter handle on Monday, May 22.
He said Uwagbogu was arrested following an “actionable intelligence “ and “investigation is ongoing.”
Edafe wrote; “The command's crack squad acting on credible intelligence has arrested one Queen Uwagbogu age 34 years in Effurun. She deals on illegal sales of AK47 ammunition. She is currently in custody, and investigation is ongoing.”
