Yemi Elesho was born on September 14, 1989, in Kwara State. He is 33 years old as of September 2023. He was born as the first child of veteran Nigerian comic Adewale Elesho. He is a native of Ikirun, Osun State, southwestern part of Nigeria. Further information about his early life is scarce at this time.

The actor attended Yemm primary school for his primary education. He proceeded to Lagos State Civil Service Secondary Model College for his secondary education. He later graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts.

Yemi Elesho started his career by anchoring events in his neighborhood. He makes his skit in ‘Yoruba language which happens to become his local dialect. While in school, he started anchoring school events/programs such as Traditional Night, Dinner, Freshers party, and so on.

Yemi Elesho joined Instagram in 2016 after Graduating from Obafemi Awolowo University where he started uploading his comedy skit. He has done numerous comedy skits and has worked with the likes of popular Instagram comedians like Broda Shaggi, Thecuteabiola, Taaooma, and many others.
