Wizkid Promises To Invite Oxlade To All His Shows (Video)

Nigerian music star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known as Wizkid has revealed that he is a huge fan of his younger colleague, Oxlade.

He vowed to ensure that Oxlade would perform with him at every of his concert so long as he is available.

The Bad To Me crooner said he loves Oxlade’s voice and how he uses it to make songs beautiful.

Wizkid spoke during an interview as he noted that he also likes all his songs, especially his recently released hit track, Ku Lo Sa.

He said that anytime he is going for a show and sees Oxlade, he will invite him to the stage to perform Ku Lo Sa to the audience.

”I am a big Oxlade fan…. I love his voice and I love how he uses his voice. Everywhere I go, If I see him, I’m bringing him on stage to perform that song,” he said.

Meanwhile, Oxlade recently spoke on the huge support he’s been getting from Afrobeats maestro, Ayodeji Wizkid Balogun.

According to him, Wizkid made it possible for him to have his first ever performance at the prestigious O2 Arena in 2018.

The Ku lo sa crooner made this known during an interview on UK’s Capital Xtra radio as he also recalled that Wiz took him to Paris to perform at the 21,000 capacity arena few weeks ago.

Oxlade said the Ojuelegba crooner is the blueprint which other growing artistes use to master their craft.

He further said that Big Wiz is someone others run to whenever they need to check and balance their artistry.

He described Starboy as a big brother to him and also revealed that they are from the same neighbourhood. Oxlade stressed that all he has for Wizkid is love and he would always appreciate him.

In other news, Oxlade whose real name is Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, has shared the career-related advise he got from his Ayodeji ‘Wizkid’ Balogun.

He said Wizkid advised him to observe his style of music and figure out a way of being unique without copying him.

Oxlade explained that the Joro crooner does not want him to follow the same path he took or to make the same mistakes.

According to him, Wizkid made it possible for him to have his first ever performance at the prestigious O2 Arena in 2018.
