The Governorship candidate of Labour Partyin Lagos state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has said that the incumbent Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu will not get a second term.

He said that Sanwo-Olu, who is seeking to be re-elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress cannot win the March 11 gubernatorial elections.

According to the MIT graduate, the reason the governor will lose at the polls is because he is running for the same office.

Rhodes-Vivour stated this while appearing as a guest on Menisms podcast where he also said that he feels bad for Sanwo-Olu because he cannot do much of what he intends because of the structure of his party, APC.

He said that the sitting governor might have the biggest plans for Lagos but by virtue of the party structure that he is in, he would not be able to do a tenth of it.

The LP guber candidate further drew a comparison with the immediate past governor, Akinwunmi Ambode who was voted out after just one term because he tried to transform Lagos.

He said that in a bid not to suffer the same fate, Sanwo-Olu might find himself holding back on doing things which go contrary to what the party wants.
