How Did Sheikh Abdullah Kamal Die?
Sheikh Abdullah Kamal, one of the geniuses in the field of Quran recitation has sadly passed away. Muh’d Ballo Aljibowiyh announced this sad news on a Facebook post and the statement reads,
“Innā Lillahi Wahinā Ilehi Rājihun”
Our beloved Sheikh, Abdullah Kamal, has passed away in the States.
He was well known for his beautiful Quran recitation and despite his blindness, this never stopped him from memorizing the Book of Allah. Truly an inspiration to all.
May Allah grant him the highest rank in Jannah and give his family and loved ones patience.
Who was Sheikh Abdullah Kamal?
Sheikh Abdallah was born blind in 1985, but he did not let his physical disability define his way of life lived. Instead, using the Louis Braille system, he took over it and memorized the entire Qur’an.
The Sheikh’s melodic and unfeigned recitation of the Qur’an will move you to tears. His mesmerizing tilawah draws enormous crowds who gather to offer Salaah in peace and sincerity.
Sheikh Abdallah Kamal is a well-known figure in Egypt. He earned his degree from Al Fayoum University in 2005 and then joined the faculty at Dar Al Uloom there.
Additionally, he was chosen to preside over the Taraweeh prayers in the mosque of Badr Al Islami. He attended classes there once a week.
He also worked as a speaker in a mosque in Al Kiman. Sheikh Abdallah Kamal has had positions at mosques and universities in addition to his work in the media.
In addition to offering numerous courses on the Al Rahma channel, he had a television program called Nabadat Al Shaeir (The Poet Pulses).
On the Al Nass channel, he has also hosted a different television program called Al Muqri’at. The Sheikh also won first place in a contest held by the television network Fajr named Mizmar Al Dawud.
Sheikh Abdallah Kamal Cause of Death
Sheikh Abdallah Kamal passed away at the age of 38. Although his cause of death was not revealed yet.
His sudden demise has saddened the Islamic community.
Fuad Mohamed posted about Kamal’s passing by sharing a tribute on Twitter.
