Who is Charles Muriu Kahariri? Biography, Age, Education, Career – Charles Kahariri is a General in the Kenyan Armed Forces. He was appointed to act as the Chief of Defence Forces, following the death of General Francis Ogolla.

Career

On March 8, 2024, President William Ruto appointed and promoted various military personnel. Major General Charles Muriu Kahariri was promoted to Lieutenant General and is now the newly appointed Vice Chief of Defence Forces.

He assumed this crucial role following the tragic death of the Chief of Defence Forces, General Francis Ogolla, who died in a helicopter crash on Thursday, 18th of April, 2024.
