What You Must Do With Water If You Want To Live Long And Healthy

Water is the most important nutrient for our bodies as it is involved in every function of our bodies.

Your body is about 70% water.

Your muscles are about 75% water.

Your brain cells are about 85% of water.

Your blood is approximately 82% water.

Your bones are approximately 25% water.

You can live 5-7 weeks without food but an average adult can last no longer than 5 days without water.

Rather than going from one caffeinated or sugar-based drink to another, its advisable you take water. Lack of enough natural clean water often leads to headache, backpain, arthritis, skin problems, digestion problems and several other ailments.

However, drinking enough amount of the right kind of water will also do more to improve your health than anything else you can do.

Other benefits of drinking water are;

– It is the main lubricant in the joint spaces and helps prevent arthritis and back pain.

– It increases the efficiency of the immune system.

– It prevents clogging of arteries in the heart and brain, thus helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

– It improves attention span.

– It reduces the effect of anti-aging.

It’s advisable you have water by your bed stand before you go to sleep, and as you wake up in the middle of the night to urinate, you drink water to replace the fluid and ensure you take a glass of water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Your brain, heart, lungs, liver and kidneys will thank you for it.

As much as it is very good to take water, pls take note of the timing for better absorption.

Drink water 15-30mins before meals or 30 mins after.

Drink at least 3 litres of water during the day especially in hot weathers.

Do not drink much water past 7pm because it may interfere your sleep.

Don’t wait until you are so dehydrated before you take water.
