“We Do Too Much; This is Candle Night and Not Protest” – Actor Alesh Berates Nigerians Who Were Teargased At Lekki Toll Gate

Popular Nollywood actor, Alesh Sanni has berated Nigerians who were tear gased at the the Lekki toll gate during Mohbad’s candlelight procession.

It would be recalled that a candle night was held for the late singer in Lagos yesterday, September 21. Viral reports showed that police had dispersed the crowd by tear gasing them after politely asking them to leave.

Alesh took to his Instagram page to scold those who were tear gased as he emphasized that the event was meant to be a candle night and not a protest.

He wrote:

“You guys missed the point of this whole thing!!!! This is Candle Night and not Protest!!

The initial walk that was supposed to replace the Protest was cancelled just becos of something like this…

This is candle night and not protest!!!
I said it.. we do too much ,,, why abeg”
