The West African Examination Council, WAEC, has the 2019 West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, results for private candidates.

Mr. Olu Adenipekun, head of the Nigeria National Office of WAEC, disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday in Lagos.

According to him, 3,102 out of the 12,202 candidates that registered for the examination obtained credit in English language and general Mathematics, as well as in at least four other subjects.

Adenipekun also said that the exam which was written in on February 4, 2019, has the results of 11,686 candidates fully processed and released.

He said, although 12,202 registered for the exam, only 11,892 sat for the examination.

He also said that while 4,314 candidates obtained credit and above in five subjects, 8,782 candidates obtained credit and above in two subjects.

Adenipekun also said that 7,332 candidates obtained credit and above in three subjects while 5,850 candidates obtained credit and above in four subjects.

He said few of the results of at least 206 candidates are still being processed due to errors that arose from the registration process by the candidates.

According to him, “A total of 3,102 candidates obtained credit and above in a minimum of five subjects including English language and general Mathematics,” he said.
