How to change transfer pin on etisalat (9mobile)
The ussd code to change your transfer pin on 9mobile (etisalat) is *247*Default Pin*New Pin#.
Default Pin: This is the pin already assigned to you that you want to change and is 0000.
New Pin: This is the new pin you want to change to and must be four(4) digits too.
Let’s say the New Pin you want to change to is 1836, then the ussd code you’ll be dialling will be *247*0000*1836# after pressing that, you press dial/send.
After sending it, you’ll receive a message immediately, notifying and confirming your change of Pin.
Now that you successfully changed your transfer pin, you can now follow the below steps to transfer airtime from your 9mobile line to another 9mobile line.
How to transfer airtime from 9mobile to 9mobile
To transfer or send airtime from your 9mobile line to another 9mobile line is very easy and time saving. All you need is the recipient’s number, your new pin and of course your airtime.
If you’ve gotten all that you can now go ahead to share your airtime. The ussd code to share airtime from your 9mobile line to another 9mobile line is; *223*New Pin*Airtime Amount*Recipient’s Phone Number#.
Let’s say your New Pin is 1836, Airtime Amount is N100 and Recipient’s Phone Number is 08012345678 then the ussd code you’ll dial will be; *223*1836*100*08012345678# and press send/dial.
After dialing this, you’ll receive a message telling you to confirm this transfer transaction, press 1 to confirm the transaction or you press 2 to cancel the transaction..
Note: Ensure your transfer pin, airtime amount and recipient’s number are all correct before you press 1 to confirm, if they are not correct, you press 2 to cancel. Be careful as transfer made cannot be reversed.
Also ensure you have enough airtime depending on the amount you want to transfer before transferring, dial *232# to check airtime balance, also bear in mind that you won’t be allowed to transfer airtime bonuses only your main airtime can be transferred. And you can’t transfer airtime containing kobo eg. N100.40 but you can transfer N100, N200, N300 etc.
