Hoodlums Were Disappointed After My CoS Opened COVID-19 Palliatives Warehouse – Bauchi Governor

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed in his recent post has shared disappointment from the Hoodlums as they raided the Covid-19 palliative warehouse.

According to him his Chief of Staff, Ladan Salihu, was attacked and forced to open the warehouse which stores COVID-19 palliatives in the state but to their disappointments, the warehouse was empty.

He continue to state that, the warehouse was empty because covid-19 palliatives were distributed between May and August so there is nothing left.

In a tweet, he said

“Today, hoodlums attempted a raid on the COVID-19 palliatives warehouse in Bauchi State. My Chief of Staff was informed and he ordered the warehouse to be opened.

“They saw it was empty, and they turned back. And that’s because we shared everything to beneficiaries as and when due.

“For accountability, when we started distribution months ago, I ensured to set up a high powered committee that included myself.

“The core of my mandate remains the crucial drive to give Bauchi State citizens a better prospect and more excellent opportunity for a prosperous life. We are doing this, and we will continue to do more.”

Many lootings have taken place in the past days in some states such as Lagos, Benin, Osun, Akure, Ibadan and the others which hosted the covid-19 palliatives that was donated by Private Sector Coalition against COVID-19 group
