Nigerian star finally reveals where he will be playing next season amid interests from top European clubs

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has distanced himself from news linking him with a move away from his Saudi Arabia club side Al Nassr this summer.

The 27-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move back to Europe as Turkish League side Fenerbahce are interested in the Nigerian star.

Musa joined The International from Premier League outfit Leicester City in the summer of 2018 in a four-year deal valued around €16.50 million.

The winger was forced to leave England having been frozen out of the squad having spent the second half the 2017-18 season at his former club CSKA Moscow.

Although, he didn’t enjoy a bright start in his reign at the club having scored just nine goals and 12 assists in 48 appearances so far.

The Nigerian has managed just one goal in 17 league appearances for Al Nassr this campaign.

“There are rumours linking me away from the club,” Musa told Supersports’ Carol Shabalala during an Instagram Live chat.

Musa added that he is not in a hurry to leave the club, saying he would be glad to see out his contract at the club.

The former Kano Pillars man said: “I love playing for my team (Al Nassr) and I will love to finish my contract with the club.”

ngnews247.com earlier reported that Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has directed a young player to hold his football academy management responsible for the cash donation he made to them.

Apparently, the 27-year-old Nigerian star had made a promise to give ASDC Sports Development Center a sum of N5 million after attending one of their occasions in 2019.

But, after nothing was heard about the money from either the former Leicester City forward or the academy, an individual with the Twitter handle Sman asked Musa on the platform.
