Five Jamb Staff And NSCDC Operative Kidnapped In Kogi Regain Freedom

The Kogi State Police Command has confirmed that all the five Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) staffs that were kidnapped along the Obajana-Kabba road, over a week ago have secured their freedom.

The Police Command also said all the five personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) that were also kidnapped around Ajegwu, along the Ayingba road have secured their freedom.

According to the Police Command, on Tuesday, all the Kidnapped victims were well, cheerful and have all reunited with their families.

The ransom paid for their release were not made known to the public.

It was recalled that the JAMB workers were said to have been coming from the examination body’s head office in Abuja and were heading to Kogi West, ahead of the mock UTME which was held last Tuesday while the NSCDC operatives were abducted on their way for a promotion examination in neighbouring Benue State.
