Man Jumps to His Death from UCH’s 5th Floor

A man on Wednesday reportedly died after jumping from the 5th floor of the Administrative Building of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Eyewitnesses say the yet-to-be-identified man apparently committed suicide.

The deceased, who reports claimed sneaked to the upper floor freely due to the ongoing nationwide strike action, smashed his head when he hit it on the floor and died on the spot.

Unconfirmed reports said the deceased left a note behind in which he allegedly said he committed the suicide because he was duped of N30 million. The note is said to be with the police.

The body of the victim has been moved to the morgue of the hospital.
