The Italian and Australian communities adored Tony Pantano, and his performances frequently sold out. Since he was 15 years old, Tony has performed nonstop at weddings, engagements, nightclubs, TV shows, Sydney clubs, and on American and local cruise ships.

A wonderful man who was selfless, thoughtful, and devoted to those close to him. In the entertainment industry, Tony had a very successful career, winning the “MO Award” for “Best Male Vocalist” a record-breaking thirteen times.

Tony, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer and diabetes two years ago, said that one of the good things about time spent in isolation has been the ability to keep in touch and reconnect with people over social media.

Tony Pantano with his coveted Star Award, the first of many awards he has won during his long, illustrious career. “I have been hearing from people I haven’t seen in 30 years … it has been amazing. I have also been able to talk to industry friends who are in the same boat and I think the communication between everyone has helped some cope with the isolation and financial stress much better,” said Tony.

Tony began performing with his father at local Italian dances and weddings when he was 12 years old, singing and playing the slap bass.
