US actor Tom Sizemore, known for roles in Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down, has died at 61, his manager says.

The actor passed away Friday in an L.A.-area hospital after his family made the difficult decision to remove him from life support. The actor had been receiving treatment after suffering a brain aneurysm at his home on February 18, which caused him to collapse and lose consciousness.

Sizemore experienced a burst brain aneurysm on the 18th of February, 2023 when he was at his house in Los Angeles. He was sent to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Los Angeles in critical condition. His attorney, Charles Lago, released a statement on February 27 stating that the medical professionals had assessed that there was “no further hope and have suggested end-of-life choice” to the family of Mr. Sizemore. On March 3, 2023, Sizemore passed away.
