“The Hardship Is Too Much for Me”, Man Attempting Suicide Says

A man attempting suicide who was rescued by officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kogi State has revealed that he attempted to take his life because of too much hardship.

The FRSC officers were informed by a bike rider that a man was attempting to take his life in a bush after which they rushed down to rescue him.

The man who was met unconscious was later revived when the FRSC officers performed a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on him.

The man, Agada Opanachi revealed that he is a civil servant with the Ministry of Agriculture .

The suicide survivor, after regaining consciousness said: “The hardship is too much for me and I can’t cope than to hang myself. For the past two year I have not taken a kobo after wasted all my money for screening in lokoja.”
