FPE SU RECONCILE WITH ENGINEERING FACULTY AS STUDENT’S DEMANDS MET

Bringing you back the memory line, you will recall of the recent incident of denial of examination in the School of Engineering, Federal Polytechnic Ede, where some set of students of the Engineering faculty reportedly levied allegations on the faculty of denial of Examination.

In another Development,things regain its shape as the SU with a welcoming hand received the petition and addressed it via the Directorate of Student’s Affair to the Engineering faculty.

The Directorate of student’s affair in the School have done well by setting up a joint investigative panel with the Engineering faculty in the institution to further address the crisis as it was uncovered that some of the students were guilty of recalcitrancy by their self epagogic failure to take undertaken for the integrated fee, some do not have conditions to be called a bona-fide students of the school while some even failed to register for the session, yet falseheartedly alleged the faculty of misconduct .

NAIJAPARY Reporter, G.song gathered that in an effort to address the burning issue ,the Directorate of student’s affair , yesterday Monday 4th of June, 2018 hold a crucial meeting with the Engineering Faculty and the SU with the engagement of the affected students in the Engineering conference room .

After series of inferences drawn ,with exert effort demonstrated by the SU President, Comr. Danlab and the Dean of Engineering Dr. Petinrin, at the End of the meeting ,in sequel to the request of the students that the Faculty should grant them the grace to sit for the summer Examination instead of an extra year programme, the Faculty of Engineering graciously promised to look into some supplication and give fair consideration to students with justifiable and rationale excuses .

The amiable Dean of Engineering, while addressing the students urge them to stop projecting the image of the Engineering Faculty negatively added that the faculty have and will always be student – friendly, however prayed for the success of the students .

The SU President, Comr. Danlab and other powerful comrade expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Dean of Student’s affair, Mr Adelabu and the Dean of Engineering Dr Petinrin for their upright – Contributive role played to see the end of the matter and for total support to complement the laudable goal of the Student’s Union .
