The Federal Polytechnic, Ede is hereby using this medium to inform all students to proceed with payment of their SUG Due and integrated levy as the resumption date for academic activities on campus is awaiting.
According to the statement which directs all students of the Polytechnic to make their SUG Due and integrated levy at any closest First Bank branch in their location and come along with the bank teller on resumption for immediate conversion to receipt and clear air that the Polytechnic has not decided on any day for students’ resumption, and thereby dissociates itself from any purported claim by the originators of the information.
The Polytechnic Ede students’ Union, according to the President, said the management has put necessary measures in place to make the campus conducive for teaching and learning
Naijaparry recalls that the Federal Government ordered the closure of higher institutions in the country over the outbreak of COVID-19 in March.
The Polytechnic Ede, which is a Federal Government-owned institution, had been on recess sequel to the order which has been reversed.
In his Words, Kazywhite urged the students of the institution to remain calm, and await authentic information from the Polytechnic Management as the Federal Government has give the order to reopen the Polytechnic.
The students body of the polytechnic enjoined students to ensure; full compliance with safety protocols as clearly specified by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19.
The measures include the use of face mask and shield in crowded areas, regular hand washing with soap under running water and social distancing.
“We appreciate the patience of our students and we advise them to always remain safe,” he added.
