These scholarships are to support academically gifted students who do not have the financial means to pursue further studies of this nature. The successful candidates will need to demonstrate a combination of exceptional academic merit and financial need.

2023 AIMS-Carnegie Scholarships in Data Science for International Students; The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in partnership with the Carnegie Corporation of New York is offering scholarship opportunities to students with an interest in data science and its related disciplines (such as Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Cluster Analysis, Data Mining, Big data Analytics, Data Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Deep Active Learning, Cognitive Computing among others), to apply for one of six attractive scholarships at its pioneering Quantum Leap Africa (QLA) Research Centre in Rwanda.

2023 Neuropsychology International Fellowship Scheme (NIF) for Developing Countries; The Neuropsychology International Fellowship (NIF) scheme was initially launched in 2011 by Professor Narinder Kapur, while he was President of the British Neuropsychological Society (BNS) and also a member of the executive committee of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Division of Neuropsychology (DoN). Previously, two NIF awards were made each year amounting to £1,000 each, with one award funded by the BPS Division of Neuropsychology and one by the British Neuropsychological Society.

The awards were primarily intended to support neuropsychologists from developing countries to gain knowledge, skills and experience by spending some time in UK.

UN Human Rights Fellowship for People of African Descent – Switzerland, 2023; The Fellowship programme for people of African descent is an intensive human rights training for people of African descent, from the diaspora, who are engaged in promoting the rights of people of African descent.

The Fellowship Programme will allow the participants to better contribute to the protection and promotion of civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of people of African descent in their respective countries.
