Rev Yinka Badejo Death: Wife of Former General Overseer, Dies At 74

Rev Mrs Yinka Badejo, the widow of Rev Wilson Badejo, the former General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church of Nigeria, has passed away.

She died in the early hours of Friday, November 12, 2021, after being ill for some time.

Her spouse, Rev Wilson Badejo, died on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the age of 74.

According to family accounts, late Rev Mrs Yinka Badejo was sick before her husband died.

“Before he died, her husband was concerned about her health. Her husband, ironically, was not ill when he died. Mrs Badejo had been sick, according to Church Times.

Rev Mrs Yinka Badejo was born in Idioro, Ibadan, Oyo State, on October 26, 1949. In 1975, she graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelor’s degree in Library Studies, and the following year, she married Reverend (Dr) Wilson Badejo.

In 1998, she graduated from Foursquare Theological Seminary in Ikorodu, Lagos, with a degree in theology. She was a member of Foursquare Women International’s Deputy Board of Directors.

Rev. Yinka Badejo also coordinated the Dew of Heaven prayer and counselling programme.

She started the ministry to help women who are looking for the fruit of the womb as well as mature females who want to marry through prayer and counselling.

In an interview, she expressed her desire to be remembered for her compassion for the barren, which she demonstrated through the Dew of Heaven Ministry.
