Residents nabbed Imam’s daughter for goat theft in Osun (Photo)

Nemesis on Tuesday has caught up with a goat thief (Name Withheld) in Ede in Osun state after she was nabbed by the residents in the community for stealing a white goat.

Eyewitness told REPUBLICAN that the young woman who was dressed in pink hijab was caught beside a bar joint at the Agbale area of Ede where she was trying to manoeuvre her way with the goat.

Sources at Ede confided in our correspondent that the young woman is a daughter of a prominent Cleric (Name Withheld) in Ede.

Upon her apprehension, the woman admitted to the goat theft. She confessed that it was not her first time of stealing goats in Ede community.

Adding that a renown man in the community send her on such errands.

Narrating her mode of operation, she confessed that “ it is not my first time, I mix oil and salt with cassava peels and I feed goat with the mixture, when they eat it they will not raise alarm so I easily cart away with them” she confessed.

Meanwhile, Elders in the community have summoned her parents while investigation was still ongoing.
