President Buhari, Wife Lose Family Friend

President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha, have expressed sadness over the death of a family friend, Hajia Nafisatu Galadima Aminu Usman.

Ngnews247.com reports that Nafisatu Usman, wife of Lt. Colonel IG Usman, ADC to former President Shehu Shagari, died on Monday after a brief illness.

In a message on Tuesday signed by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, to the family of the deceased, Adamawa royal family, government, and people of the state, Buhari said the late Usman was a very special person to his family.

The Nigerian leader expressed “profound sympathy and condolences” to the deceased family, friends and loved ones.

He described the late Usman as “a sincere, trusted and tireless family friend who gave her total support to the first family.’’

The President prayed that Allah will accept her soul and look after the family she left behind.
