Police Reiterates Ban Of Fireworks During The Yuletide Season

THE USE OF FIREWORKS DURING THE YULETIDE SEASON.

Police ban on the use of fireworks during the Yuletide season is still in force.

The Bayelsa State Police Command wishes to reiterate it’s commitment to ensure a peaceful celebration of Christmas and New Year in the State.

The Command has beefed up security with increased vehicular and foot patrols as well as intensive surveillance in nooks and crannies of the State

The Command hereby solicits for support and cooperation of members of the public to ensure a hitch free yuletide season. Parents and guardians are advised to warn their wards to desist from the use of any fireworks during and after the yuletide. Any person found violating the ban would be arrested and prosecuted.
