Oyo Records 41 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Hits 1432

Oyo State has recorded forty-one new cases of COVID-19.

This was announced by governor Seyi Makinde in a statement on his official Twitter account on Friday.

This brings the total number of recorded cases in the state to 1432.

A break down of the new cases showed that they were recorded in nine local government areas in the state.

The governor’s statement reads:

“The COVID-19 confirmation tests for forty-one suspected cases came back POSITIVE.

“The cases are from Ibadan North (12), Lagelu (6), Egbeda (5), Oluyole (5), Ibadan Southwest (4), Ido (4), Ibadan North East (3), Ogbomosho North (1) and Ona Ara (1) Local Government Areas. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 1432.

“Please call the Emergency Operations Centre on 08095394000 | 08095863000 | 08078288999 | 08078288800, if you have any COVID-19 symptoms: cough, fever, tiredness, body ache, loss of smell/taste and shortness of breath.
