Nigerian Lady Arrested In UK After Travel Agent She Paid N15m Scammed Her With Fake Documents
A Nigerian lady has landed in trouble in the United Kingdom after being scammed and deceived by a travel agent.
The 20-year-old reportedly paid the agent about €20k (approximately N15 million) to process student visa for her, but she did not realise she would end up being a victim of fraud.
According to a London-based Nigerian man, he was called to attend to the matter when she got detained at the airport in UK.
The lady who wanted to study in the European nation realised after her arrest that she was scammed with a fake student visa and it left her totally devastated and depressed.
The man said he drove for five hours from London to Sunderland to help facilitate the girl’s release from detention.
