Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci Seen Celebrating With Friends After Completing 100 Hours of Cooking (Video)

Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey Effiong, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has been captured on tape celebrating with her friends after beating the record for the longest cooking hours by an individual.

She cooked over 110 meals for 100 hours to beat the existing Guinness World Record of 87 hours, 45 minutes and 00 seconds.

In 2019, Indian chef, Lata Tondon broke the previous record and in 2023, Hilda surpassed it after cooking for four days.

After cooking past the 87 hours, Hilda set a new record by going for up to 100 hours by 8 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023 and she is now waiting for official confirmation from Guinness World Records.

The Lagos-based chef began the competition on Thursday at 4 pm and surpassed the current world record holder on Monday morning.

In the viral video, she could be seen jumping in excitement as she finally got to meet her friends after being busy for four straight days.

They were hailing Baci and referring to her as a celeb, however, her attention was more focused on one who seemed to be her best friend.

She showed off injuries on her hand which were sustained in the course of her record breaking marathon.
