Naira Scarcity: Reactions As Wike Gives Physically Disabled Man Bundle of New Notes
Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike stirred reactions from Nigerians after he doled out cash to a person living with disability.
In a video posted by entertainer, Tunde Ednut, Wike was addressing people of Rivers during a state sponsored event when a physically challenged man who was beckoned moved to the stage.
The governor then brought out a stack of mint new naira notes and handed it to the man who pocketed it and thanked him.
Nigerians shared divergent views on the act as some wondered how he was able to get bundles of the new note so easily.
