Mozambique Players May Shun Super Eagles Friendly Over Pay Row

Mozambique players have threatened to shun their friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria due to a pay dispute with the country’s Football Federation.

The Mambas are scheduled to take on the Super Eagles at the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira on Monday (today).

According to RM Desporto, the Football Federation paid the players $600 each for their friendly against Angola on Friday.

The players are demanding another $600 to take to the field against the Super Eagles.

The Federation claimed the money being demanded by the players could jeopardise the holding of the friendly.
