The symptom is already known by many and said as the biggest sign that you may be infirm, but the may also have motives other than a sign of heart attack, you know?

But how to recognize the difference? You must be asking yourself.

Of course, in doubt, the search for a medical emergency is of vital importance, even though the infarction when it happens tends to lead to death in the first hours. But recently a survey by an American university found that more than fifty percent of the cases of patients arriving at a hospital emergency room were not pumping, despite allegations of severe chest pains.

The fearful chest pain is also associated with other very different diagnoses, including the results of the research shows that most people who came to the medical emergency and were not suffering had pain from psychological or psychiatric problems.

Among the most common causes of chest pain are:

1 – Gastritis
2 – Esophagitis
3 – Stomach ulcer
4 – Fibromyalgia
5 – Arthritis
6 – Gallbladder inflammation
7 – Panic Syndrome
8 – Anxiety
9 – Depression
10 – Herpes
11 – Costochondritis (inflammation of the cartilage)
Anemia
13 – Muscle pain
14 – Pulmonary hypertension
15 – Gases
16 – Pneumonia
17 – Spasms of the esophagus
18 – Dilation of the stomach or esophagus
19 – Tumors in the lung
20 – Spill
21 – Aneurysm
22 – Pulmonary embolism
23 – Pericarditis
24 – Injury to the rib
25 – Pancreatitis
26 – Esophageal reflux

In the list above there are diseases that also, like the infarction, need urgent medical help, for this reason, it is best to prevent the slightest sign of chest pain.

The infarction, in turn, does not only stop at this famous symptom, it also gives other relevant signs such as: heartburn, indigestion, dizziness, fatigue, shortness of breath, palpitations, nausea, vomiting and body aches even at rest.

Annual exams are of fundamental importance to ensure the health of this vital organ. Measure blood sugar and cholesterol levels annually, exercise regularly, have a good diet (with fruits, vegetables, carbohydrates and proteins in the right measure), consume good fats (from foods such as chestnut, olive oil, avocado, bitter chocolate), not smoking, avoiding alcoholic beverages, having leisure and fun moments to avoid stress, are some of the precautions that everyone should have to avoid heart problems.
