Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eyes’ housemate, Maria Chike Benjamin has alleged that she has faced a lot of spiritual struggles since leaving the hit reality show.

Maria Chike made this known in an interview with The Cable Lifestyle on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

According to have, she has been in several spiritual struggles which has drawn her closer to God and her faith.

Speaking about her faith, Maria expressed how amazing is for her to have God by her side. She stated that she always encourages people to tell God first about their actions.

“Since coming out of Big Brother there have been a lot of spiritual struggles or challenges, and that just made me get closer to my faith and obviously to God.

Having God by your side is also amazing, and I always encourage people, no matter what they do, whether it’s good, bad, or evil in the eyes of other people, to always tell God first, and it helps you feel better”.

Maria Chike apologizes for dragging Apostle Selman into her cheating scandal

Last year, Maria Chike Benjamin earned backlash after dragging renowned man of God, Apostle Selman into her cheating scandal.

Ngnews247 reported that Apostle Joshua Selman was questioned by Maria Chike Benjamin about their alleged relationship after she mistakenly took him for Apostle Johnson Suleiman.

Reports made the rounds that Maria was involved with a popular wealthy man of God, which many believed was Apostle Johnson Suleman.

Maria, mixing up the names, mistook Apostle Johnson Suleman for Apostle Joshua Selman.

Taking to Apostle Joshua Selman’s Twitter page, Maria queried if the man of God was the one people thought she had an affair with.

Maria, however, stated that she didn’t mean to offend him and apologized for any harm her questions would cause him.

“Amen! But I’m sorry man of God, are you the one they allegedly claim I had something with? No offense but myself and my partner just laughed out loud! May God be with you amen. I found it on a retweet please don’t be offended”.

Realizing her mistake, Maria quickly deleted her tweet and wrote, “I stand corrected. My apologies for getting names mixed up/wrong. Find it in your good heart to forgive my innocent tweet. Remain blessed.”

How Maria was accused of sleeping with Apostle Johnson Suleiman

Sometime last year, Maria was accused of cheating on her Dubai-based boo, Kelvin.

According to the blog, apart from Kevin, Maria had been allegedly having an intimate relationship with a top male entertainer.

To worsen it, the reality star was allegedly dating two other men aside from the entertainer, a wealthy businessman, and a wealthy pastor.
